CodingMarble Kids is a free early-learning website for children aged 2 to 6 and the grown-ups who play with them. It is made by CodingMarble, the team behind free tools like CodingMarble Typing and Calculator.
Children tap a picture and hear its name in Hindi and English. They learn the Hindi varnamala and barakhadi, the English ABC and phonics, numbers and Hindi ginti, colours and shapes, animals and their sounds, birds, fruits, vegetables, their body, their family, feelings and good habits. Games never say "wrong" and never end with "game over": a wrong tap gets a gentle hint, and every game ends with a marble for the Goli Jar.
How we built it
Before writing a line of code we studied what children should learn at each age (India's NCF for the Foundational Stage, the UK EYFS, the US CDC milestones and more), how young children learn best (play, repetition, audio first, big pictures), and how to make screens safe and calm for them. The research notes are summarised on our Parent Corner.
