CodingMarble Kids is made for young children, so we collect nothing about them.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, names, ages, photos or email addresses.
- No analytics of our own. Fonts, pictures and sounds are served from this website only. The scripts from other websites are Google's advertising script and the optional notification script for grown-ups, both explained below.
- No microphone, camera or location access.
What stays on your device
Settings (age band, languages, sound) and the marbles in the Goli Jar are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device. You can delete them in Settings (⚙, behind the grown-up check) or by clearing site data in your browser.
Advertising
This site is free to use and is paid for by advertising. We show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies or similar technology to show and measure those ads. Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent before any such cookie is set. Because this site is made for children, we ask Google to treat it as directed at children, so ads are not personalised to your child. You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Ads are kept away from the games and buttons, so a child does not tap one by mistake.
Notifications for grown-ups (optional)
Grown-ups can choose to get a notification when we add something new. Your browser asks first, and nothing is stored unless a grown-up taps Allow. Children should not tap Allow: please ask a grown-up. If Allow is tapped, we store the address your browser gives us for sending notifications, the matching encryption keys, the page it was allowed on, the browser and device type (for example Chrome, Android) and the date. We do not store a name, age, email, phone number or IP address for this, and we do not share or sell it. If you allow notifications, your browser gives us a subscription address so we can send occasional reminders and updates. We send a few notifications a month at most. To stop them, open your browser's site settings for this website and set Notifications to Block; the stored address is then deleted automatically the next time we try to send.
