How to play free, online, without downloading
These are free games for 4 year olds without downloading anything: they open in the browser on an Android phone, an iPad or a computer. There is no sign-up and there are no ads. After the first visit a page keeps working on a weak connection, which helps in a car or on a train.
- Set the age to 4-5 in Settings (a short grown-up check keeps little fingers out). Games then give four choices and more questions.

Adapting games for every child
If a game is too hard, switch on "fewer choices" or set the age one band lower; if it is too easy, move up a band. For a child with speech delay, use Listen mode and model one word at a time.
