How to play Colour Splash Garden

A magic garden has lost its colours: the flowers, the balloon, the mushroom and the bird house are all grey. Your child taps a grey thing and it splashes into its colour while the colour’s name is spoken, and each new colour adds a band to a rainbow over the garden. Then Ruby the fairy asks for one colour by name.

Everything is spoken aloud in your child's language, so a child who cannot read yet can still play. The word also appears on screen in your own script, so print and sound arrive together. Tap 🔊 to hear the question again.

No wrong answers, only another try

If your child taps the wrong one, it still says its own name, which is its own little lesson, and Golu asks again. After a second try the right one bounces or wiggles to help. Nobody loses and there is no timer. At the end a marble drops into Golu's jar.

When the screen goes off, do something with your hands. Try 🎡 My feelings wheel — an easy craft for ages 4-6, with every step read aloud in your language. You will need two card circles, one smaller, a pin or fastener (grown-up); nothing that needs a trip to a shop.
