How to print this sheet

Press the big Print button above (or Ctrl+P / the share menu on a phone). The page prints as a clean A4 sheet: only the worksheet, no menus, no colours to waste ink. There is nothing to download and no PDF to open, which also means nothing is uploaded anywhere — the sheet is drawn in your own browser.

What you need

One sheet of A4 paper and a pencil. A soft pencil (HB) is easier for small fingers than a pen, because it can be rubbed out without tears.

How to use it with your child

Why each row has three steps

The first shape is complete, to look at. The next two are dotted, to trace. The last box is empty, to try alone. Children copy far better than they follow instructions, so let them watch you trace the first one and then take over.

Little and often

Two or three letters a day is plenty at four years old. Stop while your child is still enjoying it; a wobbly letter today is a straight letter next month.

More free printables

All of our sheets are on the printables page: letter and number tracing, Hindi varnamala, pre-writing lines, colouring pages and cut-out flashcards. They are free, there is no account, and none of them carry a watermark or an advert.
