How to sing together
Play a song once and just listen. The second time, do the actions shown next to each line. By the third time most children sing the ends of the lines on their own. One or two songs a day, at the same time each day, turns them into a routine children look forward to.
About the words
The songs were written in English and Hindi and carefully translated into Turkish. They keep the meaning and the tune, though they may not rhyme the way the English does.
Now do it for real
When the screen goes off, do something with your hands. Try 🌱 Grow a bean in a glass — an easy science experiment for ages 2-6, with every step read aloud in your language. You will need two or three chana or rajma seeds, a glass and a piece of cotton or tissue, water; nothing that needs a trip to a shop.
